No. Different users have different access rights. Again this is school-specific, e.g.

• The DSL might be able to see everything and do everything
• A Head of Year might only see their year groups information
• A class teacher might only see their class information
• A teaching assistant might only be able to record incidents but not see any other incidents or pupil information.

All staff could input information but only certain people or groups of people (e.g. the senior leadership team) would be able to access reports or assign actions.

If needed, other children can be added to the incident. The SIMs information links pupils’ information at the same address – and the reporting function makes it possible to see a chronology of events for all pupils at the same address.
